Saturday, September 20th, 2008 Monona Grove Business Men's Chili Cook-off Ends: Saturday, September 20th, 2008 Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Location: AmericInn - 101 W. Broadway, Monona Contact: Jeff Machut The aroma of bubbling pots of spicy homemade chili will fill the air during the MGBMA Annual Chili Cook-off. More than 30 chefs will be vying for the top awards and cash prizes, making this one of the biggest in the state. Competition is open to all, but participants must register prior to September 14, 2008. Contact Jeff Machut at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites. Chili day is a fun day for the chefs, their helpers and general public. The chefs take their chili seriously and no two chilis are the same...some are just a little hotter than others. Many participants set up signs, displays and wear crazy costumes. Samples from the chefs may be purchased for 50 cents each. Watch for the Classic Car Show this year! |
