In 2010, a scholarship will be awarded to 4K teachers to purchase needed items in Sawyer's name so that he can be a small part of that class. Each successive year the money will go to the next grade-level teachers until the 12th grade. In 2024 our intention is to award a graduating senior a scholarship to be used for her or her continued education. The other part of the scholarship money will be donated to the Monona Recreation Department to sponsor events or to keep costs down so more kids are able to participate.
